The Summit was keynoted by Pandora founder and Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren. He argued that there is "little doubt that the future of radio is Internet radio...[and] the music industry should be doing everything it can to encourage this shift."
Tom Taylor (who moderated our legal panel) has excellent coverage of the Summit in Radio-Info here.
RAIN publisher Kurt Hanson presented his updated State of the Industry address where he estimated Pandora's current audience size (much bigger than you think) and argued that "it's time to make your move" and "pour it on."
All Access has more coverage of Hanson's address (and the rest of the Summit) here.
Video coverage of RAIN Summit Chicago will be posted in coming days and we'll have more coverage soon, so stay tuned!
